New page! Page 49 went up a few days late – last Thursday – so if you missed it, skip back a page!
So much stuff is going on right now! First, all of my scariest writing deadlines are now behind me, so I’m hoping to shift more of my attention back to DOTU! But I *do* still have to spend a lot of time trying to get the word out about my new novel (Art of Death). I’m writing in a genre that’s really tough to get out there (LGBTQ genre fiction that has romance but isn’t romance genre), so I could really use some help to spread the word!
If you read Art of Death and enjoyed it, here are some things you can do:
-Recommend the book to people you know
-Share it on social media and/or book rec websites
-Rate/review it on Amazon, Goodreads, B&N, Kobo, Hoopla, etc.
-Request it at your local library, either in paperback or through your library’s digital services
-If it’s already at your library, check it out! If your library has Hoopla, I already know you can get it there.
—Library checkouts DO support both the publisher and the author! One of the main reasons I went for a traditional publisher instead of self-pub is that they do more to get you into libraries, and I’m a BIG fan of libraries.
Speaking of Amazon reviews, my goal was to hit 10 good reviews by October 3, my book’s 1-month anniversary. We’re already at 8, so we only need two more! If you enjoyed the book, please consider leaving a review. I’m planning to release some (free) short bonus fics when we hit various review milestones leading up to 50. When we hit 10, I’ll let y’all choose which of 2 stories you want to read first!
And if you HAVEN’T read Art of Death yet, I highly recommend it! ^_^ Art school, nude modeling, a serial killer, paintings that mysteriously change on their own, and humans getting down and dirty with the undead~ (Also, book 2 (Bonds of Death) now has finalized edits and cover art, so it’s coming soon!)
