Aaaahhhh, altar boy Pogo just kills me ;_; And there’s upset Mommy in the front row too. Man, above ground crowd scenes are so much easier than underground crowd scenes. Maybe everyone in the underground should just start wearing big baggy sweaters.

I’m drowning in freelance right now, but it’s okay because at least I got to spend the weekend working on Merritt’s story (and accompanying illicit drawings ^_^; ). I’m SUPER EXCITED because I found out there’s FINALLY a brush stabilizer for Mac that works in all programs. I’ve been using it over the weekend, and I love it and I’m so happy!!!!! Because now I can actually draw while zoomed out to 50% or even 25%, and Photoshop won’t make the lines all jagged. The end result doesn’t look much different from the work I generally post (because I work at 600 dpi so I draw zoomed in to 100-200% and ink at 500-600%), but it’s so much faster and more pleasant to do now. I can’t wait to ink my first page with the stabilizer. Check it out here (and no, this isn’t a paid endorsement or anything, I’m just really excited) –

It costs about $13.64 US, but there’s a free 1-hour demo you can test out.

This week’s TopWebcomics voting incentive is a detail shot of the stained glass window in the middle panel and a preview of a more detailed stained glass window we’ll see on the next page. I know “2” isn’t exactly a suitable sample size, but you might notice a trend with above ground religious art of the era… You can vote and see the image by clicking the TWC button below or in the sidebar.
