Thank you to everyone who came to the Merritt’s Story chat on Discord last night! I had a great time talking with you guys, and I hope you enjoyed it too! I’m hoping to start getting the sketches out tomorrow, since today is a freelance day.
Today’s page was pushed from last week thanks to crummy illness (I’m not 100% but doing better!), so we’re going to have another page this coming Monday. We’re still on a 2x monthly schedule, though.
I’m still holding my promise of 2 bonus pages across 2 months when we hit 300 patrons, but I’ll have to let it go after the end of March. I mentioned that I was moving this year and it’s gonna be expensive, which was my original reason for the reduced DOTU schedule. The next 1-2 months will probably be my last chance to do any DOTU-related work that isn’t funded at least at a self-employed minimum wage through Patreon. So March 31 will be our last shot at those 2 bonus pages. We were only 6 patrons away, but declined pledges were a HUGE problem in February and March. It’s not too late to fix those, by the way!
The current 2x/monthly schedule isn’t sustainable over the long term from a storytelling/reader retention perspective, so our best shot at keeping DOTU running is for us to hit 300 patrons and/or reach the next Patreon goals for more monthly pages!
If pledging isn’t an option, sharing the comic with others does SO MUCH to help!
