We’re almost out of buffer pages! This should have been the second to last guaranteed public page, but I decided I’ll post one extra page since I’d rather end on the first page of the next scene. After that, DOTU will go on a public break while I continue creating new pages on Patreon. Once I have enough of a buffer to post another six months of weekly pages, the comic will return to the public again.
I’d love for the comic to stay public! It’s really better for everyone that way, but right now my Patreon is only enough to fund 2 new monthly pages (along with Merritt’s Story and other Patreon rewards), which is why I have to take breaks to build up a weekly buffer. We’re 95% of the way to our next Patreon goal, which would post the next full scene publicly. At one time we were within about $15 of the goal, but unfortunately I lost two $50 patrons close together due to life circumstances. I lowered the next goal a bit to make it more reachable, and now when my current patrons’ pledges finish clearing, we should be within ~$60, which is a super attainable goal considering how many people are reading the comic!
Big thanks to the new patrons who signed up last week! You got us a LOT closer to that goal!
We also have bigger goals to get us up to 3x and 4x monthly page production. If we hit the 4x goal, the comic will stay public permanently.
I’m going to be posting extra pages to Patreon for the remainder of the year. (As in, faster than 2x/monthly.) New pages on Patreon were paused while I was moving to a new place, but now that I’m moved, the pages will resume soon! I was hoping to get some sketches done yesterday, but sleep deprivation finally caught up with me, so now I’m aiming for today and tomorrow. Page sketches will post to the Secret Gallery tier ($10.01 and higher) as they’re created, and then finished pages will post to $5+ patrons. You can pledge here!
