Chapter 4, Page 85

Chapter 4, Page 85

Oof, gay ex-boyfriend angst on a pretty bridge overlooking the water. 😛  Art-wise, this was a fun page.  I loved making that bridge, haha.  It’s also listed as the “least horrible underground bridge” in my little Secret Gallery blog post on underground environments and architecture. (That post is for $10+ patrons, but all patrons can also find a duplicate in my Patreon archive.)

And of course, I’ll take any excuse to do dramatic facial expressions. 😀

If you really want all the context behind this page, you gotta read through the end of Merritt’s Story, Book 2.  Fair warning: it’s a roller coaster.

Website Updates

•ALL 700+ SKETCH TIER SKETCHES have been added to the Secret Gallery!  Also, while the Secret Gallery as a whole is only available to $10+ patrons, this particular album is accessible to $5+ patrons too!  You can find the link by logging in and looking at the changelog.  I also uploaded more Merritt’s Story book 1 chapters for $2+ patrons. 🙂

•I’ve temporarily removed the members-only R-rated versions of the 3 recent PG13-version comic pages.  They’ll be back soon.  And they’re still available in my Patreon archive.

•Big thanks to my patrons for signing up to the DOTU site!  We’re at about 60 members now, which is of course only a portion of DOTU’s 320+ total patrons so far.  But I really appreciate the early adopters! <3  I think things have gone smoothly overall, but by signing up early, y’all are helping me figure out the best way to streamline on-site bonus content.  Again, patrons, if you run into any technical issues or see potential for improvement, please let me know!

•HEADS UP: You need to be a Patreon patron pledging to DOTU to use the “Free Tier for Patrons.”  Meaning, you’re paying a monthly amount through Patreon to support the comic and help me make more pages.  I had a handful of non-patrons sign up for the tier last week.  But the free tier works by linking to your Patreon and checking your pledge level to unlock pages.  It doesn’t unlock much of anything if you don’t connect a valid Patreon pledge.
