And chapter 1 is officially finished! Woohoo, party! Reminder – THERE WILL BE NO NEW PAGE NEXT WEEK. If I can, I’ll put up a little “intermission” sketch or something, but I can’t guarantee it. I have plenty of buffer pages for chapter 2, but ironically I’ve been having trouble figuring out what to do for the cover. I honestly think it’s harder to come up with a concept for your own cover than it is to do someone else’s, because there are too many possibilities.
I’m very lucky this page was simple and I’d done most of it ahead of time, because I’m on vacation in Florida right now, and my tablet broke during the plane ride. Both USB ports have fallen completely inside the tablet. You can’t even see them anymore. I’d bought my new Intuos5 in preparation for when this tablet would finally die for good, but knowing my luck, it had to die when I was out of town and can’t access my other tablet. This means I can’t do some professional work that I was really counting on working on during the vacation. I was pretty bummed about that. 🙁
Been watching the Olympics. Gymnastics (especially men’s) is my sport of choice, so I’m really looking forward to that tonight, but I’ll watch anything and everything. I think part of my appreciation for gymnastics is it’s one of the very few sports that favors short people. 🙂
