In it I posted several excerpts from Bonds of Death and answered questions about the Undead series and my writing in general. I really enjoyed getting to chat with fellow writers and readers and thought the event went great.
One of the coolest things about the event was that I was able to post an audio narration of the first scene from Bonds of Death, courtesy of my very talented buddy Chris. I highly recommend giving it a listen!
In other news, some of you probably saw me griping about recently spending a fortune on a new 15″ Macbook Pro with retina display. Right now I’m in that extremely miserable state where I’ve paid the money but the computer isn’t here yet. But hey, on Wednesday I’ll be getting its case, an external DVD drive, and the AppleCare protection plan. Which is also so much fun when you don’t have the computer yet. (Okay, I probably will drool a bit over the case even without having the computer yet, but still.) I’m really overdue for this computer. I’ve really felt the lag over the past year whenever I do a cover or a DOTU page, because I do it at 600dpi, and this 2008 computer has trouble keeping up. So yep, can’t wait!
