I got another very generous donation last week, which enabled me to upgrade the Smackjeeves mirror of DOTU back to the donator subscription that I always used to have. I’ve been trying to figure out different ways that I can reward you guys for the donations you’ve sent, because I really want to show my appreciation. (That’s partly why we’re having an extra page this week.) I’ve seen some webcomics that regularly put out an extra page when donations reach a certain level, so that’s an option. I also welcome suggestions. Do you guys have any favorite ways that other artists have handled donations?
I’m a little behind on replying to comments, but I’ll get there. I don’t usually reply to comments that are purely about plot elements in the comic because I don’t want to give anything away or be the overbearing type who interferes with the way readers discuss and engage with the comic. But I still read all the comments and appreciate them all, and I do try my best to respond to all comments that are directed at me.
FYI, the “extras” page is currently down, but I will get it back up ASAP.
