I hope you all had a good weekend! Yesterday was a little bit of a downer for me, I admit. My very nice mother, who is an avid gardener, gave me a pot with a kale plant and four pole bean plants. I’ve been using the kale little by little, and the beans were just starting to come in, which was very exciting – until a gang of rabbits invaded and ate all the bean plants, all the way down to the bottoms of their stems. 🙁 Okay, I don’t know if it was really a gang or if it was one giant super-rabbit, but either way, no beans for me.
In other news, I’m very excited for my buddy Lex Chase today, because her first novel, Chasing Sunrise, is available for preorder through Dreamspinner Press. I read it in a couple of previous incarnations while she was still working on it, and I’m so excited to see how it turned out, because it’s an awesome story! (FYI, Lex was also instrumental in helping me sort through Art of Death/Bonds of Death while they were in early draft stages.)
